Science and Foundation Subjects

At Marleigh Primary Academy, we choose to use the Kapow Primary curriculum for Science and all Foundation subjects, apart from PE. The Kapow curriculum provides exciting, hands-on learning opportunities that help students explore and discover new topics in these subjects. It’s designed to spark curiosity and creativity, making learning fun and engaging.

With Kapow, children are encouraged to think critically, solve problems, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them, all while building important skills for the future. The Kapow curriculum covers all the National Curriculum (2014) requirements for all foundation subjects including PSHE (incorporating RSE & Drugs Education). The Kapow curriculum is written by subject experts and regularly updated so that the learning is always current and adapting as the world around us changes.
