Residential Trip to the Grafham Water Centre, Huntingdon. Wednesday 2nd July – Friday 4th July 2025
I am pleased to write to you with the details of this year’s Year 6 residential trip.
This year the residential trip will be to Grafham Water Activity Centre with Year 6 children, and staff, from both Fen Ditton Primary School and Marleigh Primary Academy will be enjoying this opportunity together.
Grafham Water is situated near Huntingdon and is a well-established residential setting for schools in this area. The Centre has great facilities including, a dining hall and extensive indoor and outdoor activity zones.
An exciting programme will be planned to include a good balance of problem solving teamwork and outdoor activities, including water sports and mountain biking.
We will be camping on the site in bell tents which will certainly add to the excitement and experience for the children. Catering for the 3 days is included.
The total cost of the trip is £370 (based on a party of 30 children taking part).
We have spent time ensuring this is the best value for money and taken steps to ensure financial efficiency.
Appreciating that the cost of residential trips is high, to support you we have broken down the figure into the following payments should you wish to pay in instalments.
Payment will need to be made online through your child’s MCAS account as follows:
Deposit of £50 (non-refundable) by Friday 22nd November 2024
2nd payment of £50 by Friday 31st January 2025
3rd payment of £50 by Friday 28th February 2025
4th payment of £50 by Friday 31st March 2025
5th payment of £50 by Friday 30th April 2025
6th payment of £40 by Friday 16th May 2025
6th payment of £40 by Friday 30th May 2025
7th and final payment of £40 by Friday 13th June 2025
We would like all Year 6 pupils to attend so that they can benefit from this unique learning experience together with their peer group.
