Families Come Together for a Fantastic Phonics Workshop!

We were delighted to welcome parents and children to our recent Phonics Workshop, bringing families together to explore the exciting journey of learning to read.

The workshop provided a wonderful opportunity for parents to learn more about how phonics is taught in school and discover practical, enjoyable ways to support their children’s developing reading skills at home.

It was lovely to see families learning alongside one another, taking part in activities, sharing ideas and building confidence in using phonics strategies together.

Developing strong foundations in phonics is an essential part of becoming a confident, fluent reader. By working together, school and home can help children secure these important early reading skills and develop a lifelong love of books.
