Cinderella

The school is delighted to announce that we have secured tickets to take Reception – Year 6 to the Pantomime at Cambridge Arts Theatre next half term. Classes going on the trip are:

Comets
Hurricanes
Vulcans
Blackbirds
Hercules

The Pantomime this season is ‘Cinderella’ and the performance is at 10.30am on Wednesday 18th December 2024.

We will be leaving school around 9.30am and will return by around 1pm. As we will return to school during lunchtime we would like all the children to have a packed lunch on this day. If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 or is eligible for free school meals, the school is able to provide your child with a packed lunch, however we will need to know by Thursday 5th December 2024.

IMPORTANT: You still need to book your child’s packed lunch through Innovate and select the ‘Pick n Mix’ option.

We have negotiated support from the Cambridge Arts Theatre’s ‘Panto Wheels’ charity who have reduced the price of the pantomime tickets and we also have the support from the PTFA who are subsidising the cost of the trip by £735.

With the support of the PTFA we are pleased to announce the cost of the trip will be £25.00 per person. This is a voluntary contribution, however, we hope you will understand that we may not be able to run the trip if we do not receive enough to cover the cost.

The school is cashless and all payments must be made through your child’s MCAS online payment system.

We would ask that this payment is made by Friday 13th December. If it helps we have made the payment available as a minimum donation of £10 up to the full £25.00.

If you would like to make an additional donation on top of the £25.00 to support the financing of this exciting opportunity for the children it would be most gratefully received. If you would like to donate please log in to your child’s MCAS, select trips and select donations 2024-2025.

Most importantly we need you to give your child permission to attend by Thursday 5th December 2024.

Specific details about the day will be shared with you closer to the time.

We hope you agree that this is a fantastic way for the children to start the Christmas holidays and will provide a memorable experience.

Yours sincerely,

Miss James (Interim Executive Headteacher) & Mrs Thompson (Executive Headteacher)
